This "Scary Gman Virus" is a poorly coded Lua file. If you don't know what it is, please look it up. How can I avoid this virus easier? How can I tell between a safe server an infected server? Is there an addon that has this virus on ? If I get the virus, what is the best way to stop it? Can advast detect it before it strikes? I do want to get gmod, but there are some addons from I want to get and I'm scared any of them could have the virus. I'm now a bit scared to dowload gmod, because I don't want to get this sinister virus.
Then the internet will openin a bunch of tabs and start downloading malicious software and go to explicit sites while spamming the mouse to one corner of the screen to make it difficult to stop. If you try alt-ctrl-delete, it will say something like "your in a pit of hell now" in a staticy voice. If you try to exit garry's mod it will laugh and say no. From what I've read, if go on to an infected server or download an addon that has the virus, a poorly rendered head of Gman from hl2 will appear in full screen. Recently I just found out about a virus called The Scary Gman Virus.
However I am now very paranoid to get it. I am about to finally download Garry's mod to play over the summer on steam.
